Call for Submissions - ISPIM Connects Bangkok

Thailand is on the road to becoming an innovation Hub in Southeast Asia. Government, private sector, universities and start-ups are working together to develop an innovation ecosystem to support the Thailand Government’s economy 4.0 agenda. Thailand is eager to develop an inclusive, sustainable and technologically advanced economy, which is reflected, for example, in the emergence of digital parks, co-working spaces and in its vibrant community of entrepreneurs. A strong emphasis on social innovation is also an interesting characteristic of the Thai Innovation Landscape. Most large Thai organizations list innovation among their top strategic priorities and there is much to be learned from these companies innovating in constrained emerging markets.

We welcome you to join us in amazing Bangkok for ISPIM Connects Bangkok 2020: Partnering for an Innovative Community, to discover and contribute to this blooming Southeast Asian (ASEAN) innovation world.

Submissions from academic, research, consulting, industry, intermediary and policy are encouraged. Submissions on the focus themes are particularly sought.

Important Deadlines:

  • 3 January 2020: Acceptance Notification**

  • 2 February 2020: Final Submissions (including papers, profiles & photos) PLUS registration and receipt of payment

  • 17 February 2020: Presentation Slides


Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings with an ISBN and included online in EBSCOhost and ProQuest. Authors wishing to withhold their papers from the proceedings may do so on request. All outlines are double-blind evaluated. Special issues focused on the key themes of this event will be published in Technology Innovation Management Review. Selected papers will also be entered, where suitable, into ISPIM's associated journals: Creativity and Innovation Management; Futures & Foresight Science; International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management; International Journal of Innovation Management; International Journal of Technology Management; International Journal of Technology Marketing; R&D Management Journal; Technological Forecasting and Social Change; Technovation.
