Privacy Policy

 

This is the Privacy Policy of The International Society for Professional Innovation Management Ltd (“ISPIM”). ISPIM is committed to compliance with the GDPR and fair and transparent use of data. ISPIM requires online third-party providers to similarly comply.

What is personal data?
Personal data is the information that identifies you, such as your name, address, email or postal address that is held by ISPIM or an online third-party provider contracted by ISPIM.

What is it used for?
ISPIM respects the personal data of members and customers and does not sell, rent, loan, trade or otherwise transfer any personal data to any third party unless this is necessary to deliver ISPIM’s services that you have contracted.

ISPIM does not request personal data from you, other than to process a transaction or application for ISPIM membership and/or listing in the ISPIM Members Section or a registration/submission for an ISPIM event or similar.

ISPIM will also use your personal data to inform you about activities and services of ISPIM if you have so asked, but will not do so if you have notified ISPIM that you do not to wish to receive such information.

Other than in instances of common use, such as display of name, organisation, position and profile, in a Members Book, event delegate list, event programme etc ISPIM will not make public your details.

The use of e-mail
ISPIM will only use the e-mail address of members and customers, outside the scope of membership or a transaction, for the purpose of information regarding the Society. Receiving information by e-mail, means that you receive the latest information and updates that can have an effect on your day-by-day operation.

If any customer or member’s personal data, or information provided in the ISPIM Members Section is incorrect or out-of-date, please update it online.

The Members Section may not be used for mailings, electronic or otherwise for direct marketing purposes. Unsolicited commercial email for sales or promotional purposes is spam and is illegal in many countries. ISPIM recognises the importance of data privacy regulations and reminds members that they are responsible for any misuse of the Members Section within their organisation or by third parties contracted to provide their organisation with services. ISPIM reserves the right to withdraw membership services from those who misuse the Members Section. ISPIM reserves also the right of seed-addresses to monitor the use of the Members Section in accordance with this policy.

This privacy policy applies to www.ispim.org and ISPIM's other related sites used to process membership, event bookings and ISPIM products and services.

How to "know" and opt out?
If you do not wish to receive information about ISPIM’s activities, products and/or services or offers of other relevant third parties, please update your account on the website. You have the right to know what data ISPIM holds about you, which will be provided on request to Administration Contact in a .txt or pdf format. You have the right to rectify incorrect information that ISPIM holds about you, which you can request at Administration Contact. You have the "right to be forgotten" and your data will deleted upon request to Administration Contact.

Use of cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your computer browser from a website’s computer and is stored on your computer, if your browser’s preferences allow it. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access its own cookies, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

ISPIM uses cookies to help the server identify you when you log in to secure areas of the site. The cookies store your login information, so you can enter and leave the website without having to re-enter the same information over and over.

We also use cookies to track our online traffic flow (through Google Analytics and Google AdManager) and to personalise information in online forms.

Applicable Law
This privacy policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this privacy policy must be dealt with under the jurisdiction of the courts of the England.

Amendments
ISPIM reserves the right to change any of the terms of this privacy policy at any time and without notice. ISPIM therefore recommends that you review this privacy policy from time to time, or before making a transaction.
