Bringing Innovation to the Classroom

We are delighted to announce two distinguished speakers for our upcoming Teaching Showcase event: Prof Carina Leue-Bensch & Prof Riccardo De Vita.

Save the Date: 9th September, 2024, 14:00 - 15:30 CEST (online)

Carina Leue-Bensch will demonstrate how to unlock the power of design thinking in our teaching methods! She will showcase and talk about different approaches of how to incorporate Design Thinking in your teaching to solve challenges with creativity and speed and create dynamic and hands-on learning experiences.

Riccardo De Vita will share his experience in introducing students to network perspectives on innovation management. As part of his teaching, Riccardo exposed students to Social Network Analysis methodologies and used classroom data to encourage a critical reflection about the challenges in managing innovation networks. The presentation will also touch upon indirect benefits of the approach taken, including the contribution towards institutional employability and research informed agenda.

Would you like to join us as the third speaker? Paper aeroplanes, Lego, musical instruments – what do you bring to the classroom? Do you use fresh and engaging ways to teach your innovation management students? We are excited to invite you to the third series of short taster sessions where you can share one of your most engaging and imaginative teaching sessions, along with the innovative techniques and resources that you use to make the subject come alive. If you are enthusiastic about presenting a dynamic 15-minute Teaching Showcase, we invite you to register through the Expression of Interest form, where you can access additional details about the event.
