The aim of this SIG is to foster a collaborative platform that drives systemic innovation in the ocean and water sectors.

Catalyzing ocean-positive innovation for a resilient and sustainable future

The Blue Economy is rapidly gaining global attention as a vital frontier for innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth. From ocean technologies to aquatic food systems, maritime solutions, and climate-resilient infrastructures, the Blue Economy offers untapped potential for addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges—including biodiversity loss, coastal resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
